Forgive me While I bitch about work
Point A: It sucks being woken up by your boss, on your day off; to be asked if you can come in on that day in less than an hour when the drive itself is 20 minutes.

Point B: When you say from Noon till five it means noon till five. Not five thirty, Not four thirty. Not 6, not 6:30. It means noon till 5 and if I get there a half hour ahead of schedule, than by god I expect to be let go at 4:30, not kept there till 6 finishing making dinner.

Point C: I get 2 days off a week. Today is my day off, but I worked 7 hours. This week, I get 1 because I've been required to come in from noon till 4 (read 11 till 7*) to do prep work for the fantastic first annual IAOC  MOTHERS DAY BRUNCH.  Incidentally, we're only at half the reservations needed to  actually break even on this venture.  Great work.  

Point D: I do not enjoy being stood up by guests who say the'll be at diner on time then show up an hour late saying "Oh well why is my food dry and tasteless?"

Point E: I just love working 12 hour shifts, which by the way by the time I'm done with them have turned into 16 hour shifts; then sheep for 6 hours then come back to work to work another 8. It's simply fantastic for my skin and  it makes my ass look like it was sculpted by the finest Beverly hills plastic surgeon.

Point F: Now I may be young, but I'm not stupid by any means and I know full well when I am being jerked around by co workers and Nick I know for a FACT that you're jerking me around.  I don't care if you're an emergency vet and can do surgery on injured kittens blindfolded. You're a shitty baker, you suck at cleaning and you freak the fuck out every time something is not in an ordered structured environment. Please go back to the vet office and stay there. You do not belong in a kitchen. You have no concept of what tastes good, nor do you have any concept of what the phrase, 'in a timely manner' means. So shut up and get out.
